Rent a Cart & More Golf Cart Rental Policy

The following terms and conditions apply when renting a cart from rent a Cart and More Golf Cart rentals. By renting one of our Carts you are accepting responsibility for any negligence on your part. You must operate this vehicle in a safe manner and adhere to ALL rules set forth by Rent a Cart and More Inc. You are personally liable for ALL MEDICAL and LEGAL claims that may arise from the rental of the golf cart. You voluntarily agree to accept the risks of using this cart and on behalf of yourself, your representatives and your heirs hereby voluntarily release the aforementioned business, it’s owners, officers, employees and agents from any and all claims, actions, causes of actions, suits, judgments and demands for bodily injury, property damage, loss of life and/or loss of services, in law or equity, that may in any way or manner arise out of the use of the golf cart.

You must be at LEAST 21 years of age and provide a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance to rent a unit. Under no condition are you allowed to let another “Unlisted additional driver” operate this vehicle, unless cleared by the staff and listed on the rental agreement as an additional driver in addition to signing this waiver.

Carts are limited to specific capacity stipulated by Rent a Cart and More Inc. 4 passenger carts can only have 4 passengers in it. Similarly, 6 passenger carts must have no more than 6 passengers. All passengers MUST always BE SEATED and wearing seat belts. It is absolutely FORBIDDEN FOR CHILDREN to ride on any passenger’s lap, further, at NO TIME may a minor have their hand or hands on the steering when the vehicle is in motion.

Carts must remain in the area designated by Rent a Cart and More Inc. and must always remain on roads specifically designated for this vehicle. Carts are NOT to be taken on nature trails, native grass areas or on any beaches at any time. Golf carts can only be driven on roads marked 35mph or less. They can be driven across Hwy 98.

You must obey all traffic laws on the road. Drivers must NOT operate the vehicle when under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Carts must be parked in proper parking spaces. You are solely responsible for any citations or fines attached to our carts during your rental period.

Carts should be inspected before use and all damages should be reported to avoid your credit card being charged. Any damages caused by the renter must be reported IMMEDIATELY. Do not drive carts with parking brakes engaged as this will burn through the brakes. Do not store or carry items on top of the cart. Renter is responsible for all damages done to the cart while in possession of it.

KEYS MUST NEVER BE LEFT IN THE IGNITION when a driver stops for a swim, visits a restaurant, sightseeing, or when the vehicle is left unattended.

All units must be parked, and keys returned to management prior to 6 pm.

Free pick up time is 8:00 am – 11:00 am and free drop off time is 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. If you choose to pick up or drop off outside of these times you must take the cart to a designated drop off location. Additional fees may apply.

A deposit is required for the rental of golf carts. The deposit will be equal to the deductible of the cart insurance but not less than $250. Once there are no damages when the cart is returned and inspected you will be refunded the full amount of your deposit.

Anyone observed abusing the unit or violating these rules and regulations will forfeit all rental privileges immediately without refunds. This includes reckless driving, speeding or allowing under-aged guests or drivers that are not listed as additional drivers on the rental agreement. You (The licensed renter) agree to pay for any damages to the unit and authorize Rent a Cart and More Inc. to charge your credit card on file.

Golf carts are motorized vehicles and driving or riding in the same can lead to serious injury, property damage and even death. No excessive speed, joyriding or any type of unreasonable activity with units will be tolerated. You must not attempt to transport more passengers than that for which the cart was designed. In no way should the renting of this vehicle be construed that Rent a Cart and More Inc. is endorsing this vehicle as a form of recreation or fun. If management determines in its sole discretion that you have misused the unit in any way, it will require an immediate return without a refund. WE DO NOT GIVE WARNINGS AND WILL TAKE IMMEDIATE POSSESSION OF THE UNIT.

Should any portion of this agreement be found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in force and effect.
